While applications are accepted throughout the year, we typically have limited space for new students at the beginning of each school year.  Families are encouraged to begin the enrollment process as soon as possible.

We accept students at all times of the year typically based on the date their family relocates to Shenyang.  Depending on the time of year a student begins, we will discuss placement and options for joining QSI.

You will typically know about your child's application and whether or not the can attend our school within about 1 week of submitting all application materials.  Please use e-mail to communicate for ease of tracking.

We accept children of all fluency levels at QSI.  In high school, language proficiency may pose a problem to completing a diploma program.  We will discuss this during the admission process.  If a student is deemed not fluent in English, they will be placed in our Intensive English (IE) program until their language improves to grade level.

QSI has MSA accreditation and several diplomas including a general diploma, advanced diploma and an advanced diploma with honors.  The diplomas are certified both by QSI and MSA.

We work closely with our Learning Support Coordinator for the Asia Region to support all our students with special learning needs.  We can accommodate most mild to moderate disabilities depending on the need.  QSI is an inclusive school system that provides a nurturing environment that is highly personalized and individualized, this makes it ideal for meeting the needs of exceptional learners.

80% of our students are bused daily to and from school.  You can sign up for busing with our main reception desk and receive information about the route and schedule.

Students arrive around 8:15 and classes begin.  We have a break around 9:50 with an all school recess.  At 10:15AM classes resume until 12:30PM for lunch.  Then in the afternoon additional classes, specials and the ASA program end the day.  Dismissal is at 3:50PM
